Gina Sager is a retired board-certified general surgeon, named one of Baltimore’s Top Docs in October 2000. She permanently left the practice of traditional Western medicine in May 2002 to explore her long time interest in holistic healing. She has studied and practiced Buddhism in the Tibetan tradition, studied the ancient wisdom traditions including Traditional Chinese wisdom and 5 element theory at Tai Sophia Institute (now MUIH), and is a 200 hour yoga teacher trained in Integrative Yoga Therapy. She holds a 60 hour certificate in Ayurveda from her work with Amadea Morningstar, and has completed 2 years of training in Eden Energy Medicine.

Gina has been on a lifelong journey to find and open her heart, and to heal physical, emotional and spiritual wounds. She strives to teach from her awakening heart and from her own personal experiences rather than simply sharing things she’s learned intellectually. Her scientific background lends a new perspective to some of the more esoteric practices and enhances her explanations of modern and energetic medicine.

In Ayurveda, it is said that the best physician is one who teaches patients to care for themselves. In this spirit, Gina believes that her heart’s work is to share what she has learned on her own transformative journey, offering others sacred space and the opportunity to reconnect with their own deepest nature, empowering them to care for themselves using a blending of ancient and modern ways to remember wholeness.
